Semana de la Xicana: Creative Writing Workshop
This is a copy of the prompts explored during the Creative Writing Workshop: "Writing Through Your Voice: Healing by Self-Expressions and Narratives" facilitated by Patricia Killelea. Originally from the Bay Area, CA, Patricia Killelea is a doctoral student in Native American Studies. She teaches NAS 5: Introduction to Native American Literatures, and her research focuses on indigenous poetics and performance. She holds an M.A. in Creative Writing from UC Davis, and her poetry collection Other Suns will appear in May '11 from Swan Scythe Press. She can be reached at pakillelea@ucdavis.edu.
